It is difficult to comprehend for some people.
Well said. As a white Irish man who used to work nights from home (my clients were in Asia), I would go out for drives to get my lunch/dinner around 1am every week night. This was in North East Queens, which is typically very quiet on most streets. At the height of stop n frisk around 2012/2013, I was pulled over for suspected DWI no less than 20x during this period. Why? Because surely the white dude must be at the bar at that hour of night, right? Lol.

And this was in my own damn hood. Finally the cops started to recognize me and left me the F alone. But not once, NOT ONCE, did I mouth off to them. I know I wasn't drinking and knew no matter what they did, I would be fine.

Compliance goes a long way.

^ The Left made it a black racial issue and many naive Leftist followers believed it and supported all these measures to get rid of it and now we deal with the consequences.

You are right. Blame National Democrat policies.

At least the effects in neighborhoods that don’t vote accordingly tend to be far less. Hmm, I wonder why?

New York does not vote over party lines. They just vote for the skin color that fits their tribe. Man what a disgrace.

In a lot of ways NYC mirrors the rest of the country and the country mirrors NYC. This was true in the mid-90s through early 00s when NYC implemented a lot of anti-crime policies that were very effective. It's true now when NYC, along with the rest of the country has fallen victim to the left wing, pro-criminal bleating of BLM and their supporters.

NYC (and NYS. A lot of this has to be done at the state level) could lead the way in reversing the rise in crime. But it would involve a lot of politicritters tell the pro-criminal lobby to screw off, and re-implement the tough anti-crime policies that worked previously.

In many instances, black cops were stopping black suspects so how is that still a racial issue?

Yes, the perpetuation by porch people of the stereotypes and prejudices that started in 1619. They memorialize the injustices that these people have faced every day of their lives from their delivery as newborns. Everything harks back to the slave ships and hidden racism and oppressionism that are part of everyone's makeup. The immiseration and suppression of the slaves and working people and oppression of the proletariat are the keys to keeping them in chains, on the plantation.
