Someone with a clear head, decent enough skills and evil intent simply could have boarded train, waited for long distance between stops, then go from car to car taking people out.
Not if the doors between the cars are locked. On the 7 it isn't but don't know about other lines.
Having a madman able to go from car to car is one of the reasons why some aren't for those open gangway subway cars.
Thanks. You got me in the mood to watch this film again. So I watched all 3 versions this week. The Original is by FAR the best!
yes, I absolutely agree, one of the best movies ever.
also, another "train" movie is "short walk to daylight" you tube has it.
I find it a little unusual that there hasn’t been much information released on the victims. Not necessarily their names but the ages and genders of the victims like they usually release when someone is shot in other crimes. A bouncer was recently shot at a club and they announced he was shot in the groin. Why release that kind of info but nothing about these victims? Again, it shouldn’t include their names but were they old, young, middle aged, male, female, white, black, Asian, Hispanic or some other race? Since there is a possible racial angle based on his social media posts, who he shot is relevant. Maybe the information will come out when he’s formally indicted. It would also be interesting to know the location of their injuries. Shooting ten people in an enclosed space with none suffering life threatening injuries is rather amazing. Maybe he shot at their legs. The few pictures of the injuries looked like leg wounds.
This was a 'blessing' for the work from home people. I know employers won't push the issue for the rest of the year for fear of being insensitive. They need to clean up the subway and reduce crime in the city. I actually actively look around and behind me when I walk. I used to be aware of my surroundings. But not to the extent of constantly looking around me to make sure I am not being followed, in danger
NYC residents have become so used to living in this dysfunctional city.
