You'll find the same thing (or worse) in West Virginia and those types of areas.

What do you mean? Squirrels are rodents and there's an annual squirrel festival and there's a squirrel hunting season along with other small game. There's a world outside of the tri-state area.

Those are definitely not rats (Rattus Norwegicus). They are way too big and wrong colored.

Yes, I remember watching a clip of some guy in Detroit catching squirrels. He was a hillbilly from the great southern migration, an older guy, and he claimed it was open season for a lot folks in Detroit, and that he sold his catch to neighbors…

There was a famous local cook in Quebec, Jehane Benoit, who published recipes of squirrel meat in her classic book of French Canadian cuisine up until the late sixties when it was no longer deemed acceptable. Lol
Mind you, I’ve never heard of anyone cooking up squirrels in my circle. Lolla.

What this lady is doing on the streets is utterly disgusting. She needs to be deported back to whatever ratty country she illegally snuck in from.

On the other hand, wild squirrels are probably healthy meat. They are very quick and athletic animals but probably best left out in nature to do their thing.

Squirrel meat is clean. All they eat is nuts. Not trash like rats do.

Squirrel are probably a last resort type of meat. Most animals fulfill an integral part of ecosystem. Squirrel should be left alone to do their work with the tree nuts.

Unlike what all the Population Alarmists say about dwindling populations, they have never lived in parts of the world that are overpopulated hell holes without abundant food left to gather from nature. There is not much wild meat to go around when we are talking billions and billions of humans to feed; there is only so much wild meat supply.

Your little buddy Bill Gates wants to depopulate the planet for that reason, so there you go.
