Hey all,

Have an assignment that will be causing me to move to NYC until the end of 2023. Looking for everyone's recommendations on the best places to search for furnished apartment rentals or sublets in the city.

Open to most of Manhattan and I'm willing to go up to $5k per month for a 2 bdrm.

Outside of Zillow and Leasebreak, any other suggestions for where I should look?

Thanks!

Agreed. Sublets = legal mine field and needless drama.

Op is willing to spend $5k/month. W/that kind of budget just do a short term corporate rental at the extended stay hotel chain. Alternately, contact each of the building management's rental offices of the place you are interested in directly and ask what your options would be. You may be able to secure a fully furnished room. You can find many of these advertising directly in Manhattan under the name "corporate housing." These will usually be doorman buildings in Wall Street or midtown.
