What American news source hasn't been sued for defamation in recent years? Some of them have been sued for defaming a high school kid, for no reason. It doesn't get any lower than that.
I see lots of white flight in the future of NYC. This will take time over the years. Even immigrants will want to flee as soon as they can afford it.

Lots? There are hardly any more white people left in NYC to begin with. And the folks that live 50 stories above the city in 20M apartments don't count. No real white only neighborhood left.
Funny enough, I was out in Las Vegas all week checking out different suburbs for a potential move. Just beautiful. I forgot what it was like being around mostly white people like it was when I was growing up as a kid in Queens in the 70s/80s. Quite refreshing. Looking forward to it!

I was recently in parts of Florida that are as you describe here. Really tempting. I actually love where I currently live, but at least splitting time in Florida is most likely in our future. Ultimately I’d like to move further south in NJ and own a second home in Florida.
