I was recently in parts of Florida that are as you describe here. Really tempting. I actually love where I currently live, but at least splitting time in Florida is most likely in our future. Ultimately I’d like to move further south in NJ and own a second home in Florida.

I don’t think I’d go that far south. Most likely southern Ocean County, and definitely on the water!

It is because of filthy lazy people. If everyone had common sense about placing garbage in trash receptacles and with building supers being on top of the garbage cans the rats would diminish.
It’s all about filthy lazy irresponsible people and even if you have 100 tenants that are clean, a rat lives off of that 1 loser who just throws filthy garbage around for the rats to attract.
