Yea.. I'd say you were lucky, because not only me, but a good amount of my friends, and family have experienced nothing but delays from LaGuardia.

JFK is bigger and you can go to more destinations. Also, i think it is a lot easier to get too both by car and public transit.

JFK has the highest % of lost luggage though- it's one of the worst airports in the entire world.

I don't know about you guys, but I <3 MacArthur.

This is a problem all over, no more so at LGA than anywhere else, in my experience.
LGA doesn't go international?

EWR is awesome- they have a moving walkway!! I think lots of airports have them now though but Newark is the only in this area if I'm not mistaken.

I'm not being naive, maybe if you looked at the data, you'd see that I'm right. LaGuardia is more likely to have longer delays than other airports, and it's proven true for me.

And no, LGA doesn't do international.. JFK does.

Is Canada and the Bahamas part of the US? If so, I guess you're right.

i think la guardia is restricted to just north american flights......i'm unsure if you need a passport to get to mexico or canada or the carribean cause they keep switching it. but i think la guardia just adheres to the western hemisphere travel initiative:

Thanks for that interesting link, Seventh. Apparently either the Customs Service will have to set up shop in LaGuardia before Sept. '09, or flights to/from Canada, Caribbean, Mexico and Bermuda will use some other airport.
