If I were in need of Public Housing I would consider first the several on the Upper-Upper East Side like the Metro North listed above and the Washington Houses nearby...like from 97th into the low 100's along Second and Third.
I've walked by many times and they feel safe and well kept.
Same for the project immediately to the East of the MOunt Sinai Complex.
A big plus will be the EVENTUAL finishing of the Second Avenue subway.

I recently got my application selected and im glad my family and i has been selected. We have been struggling we are living in a room. NYCHA sent us a application with a list of avaible housings for us to pick and i was curious which one was the worst and the best in Manhattan borough. We are hoping for a safe envrioment for our family, and becasue my daugther is only 5 years old

Sheepshead bay is somewhat quiet although it's out there in Brooklyn. If you want to be somewhere that's kind of safe and close to your kids father, then Cooper park in my opinion is the best choice.
can anyone give me any info on fulton houses i selected that as my development choice. and how long is the waiting list please if any one could help i apperciate it thank you.
Is Williams plaza projects in Williamsburg safe. What are the worst projects in Brooklyn.
