Apparently the first car hit the person, then a Van, thinking it was a pothole that other cars were avoiding and he run over the body. Then he dragged the body for almost 20 miles on roads and highways. He did notice there was something wrong about the Van, he even stop at one time to check the engine. But never looked underneath. Until a pedestrian told him he was dragging something.

Apparently noone is getting charged in this man's death - which is outrageous - How is it not the responsibility of the truck that initially hit him? Laws are so backward!

^^^It's called an accident. I'm not sure if your aware of the concept, but it's simple. If the driver had no intention of hitting him and was attentive to his driving and surroundings, it's an accident. If he wasn't paying attention and failed to see him because he was preoccupied while driving, it's negligence on the driver's part. If he had the intention to hit him, that's a whole 'nother story. Hope that clears it up and according to the story, the pedestrian hit went against his stop light. So much for that...^^^

Did you actually read the article? Look it over a few times if you have to just to be sure.

I heard about this incident this morning. Freaking nutz... I mean how Mod cut: language do you drive 17 miles and not realize you could be dragging something under your vehicle.
