As a noob, they will eventually allow us to submit a wishlist. Basically we tell them what division (A or B) lines we would like to work, and the tour. It does not have to get honored, but they will try to work with you. We are here to do what they need and when they need it as an extra extra. You have to get used to it. Say bye to weekends, holidays, and get lots of sleep, because eventually 12 hour days will become the norm

Your welcome guys/girls! no problem.

You will all be together for your first week. You'll end up down at the NY CT transit school in Brooklyn, then depending on your induction class size, it will separate you into groups of 10 or so.
My induction class was the smallest of the year, only 42 train operators. They broke us into two groups of 10 and two groups of 11.

I have heard however that all previous months the induction classes were closer to 100 each.

Good luck to you all it's an amazing opportunity worth the wait.

Good thing I used to live in the area where the school is at, just in case I want to drive in, instead of LIRR to subway. I know where & where not to park....... lol
