We (4 people in a car) will be entering NYC on thursday morning around 9AM. I guess, I78 has a HOV lane. Does it help to cross the tunnel faster if you are in HOV lane? Is it 24h HOV lane or for rush hours only? Thanks.

Thanks. Does it mean HOV lane on I78 does not help at all to avoid traffic in any way? Or there is no HOV lane on I78? Thanks again.
