For those who moved to Li from queens or Manhattan and used to love Pio chicken restaurants, I am glad to report that their new location in Glen cove is superb.
Great decors in and out, new, clean and food is spot on.
Over the last 7 years I have looked for something similar near by but nothing came close and I wouldn’t drive to queens just for food. So I’m happy there is one here now. 20 minute drive for me but beats driving to queens.

Early 2000s I remember their first tiny location ok Woodhaven in Regina park. It’s still there but a tiny dump like it always was. Spot in Manhattan is pretty nice, it’s under ground and on main floor and decor is interesting. Queens location was a bit cold on Northern and the location is horrible, it’s a foreign country there at this point and not in a good way.
