So would you say you have a soft spot in your heart for animals - maybe even especially cats? Would you say that soft spot is indicative of a good aspect of your personality? I'd say so, but hey, that's just my take on it.

But see what I mean? Whether you meant to send that message or not, the message I got was "Hey, that guy likes cats! Awww! Nice."
I hadn't thought about it that way, but I guess it's a side effect of that name....and you would be correct in your take on it.

All 5 of my cats would agree with you.

And so do I.

Ha me too! Sometimes it made me question whether she was "real" or not. I miss her posts...

Is there a contest to see how much one can type in one day on CD?

If so, I've got this one in the bag!

Do you have anything more to add to the topic of user names?

Your user name, by the way, seems upbeat and positive to me. It implies that you would fly above negative things in life. I hope I'm right.

My user name came about by the fact that as a historian many people come to me asking about genealogy, history and regional stories. I make many visits to schools relating our true history to students, not the politically correct nonsense of today. On one of these visits a teacher introduced me as, "The man who can clear away the mist of time and give you the true accurate history of our nation." Thus my user name was coined.....

The song is about a woman who lived in the dark and then died, her soul is a high flying bird, its free. The singer talks about being rooted like a tree and watching the high flying bird. I really just happened to be listening to the song, I like it a lot, it reminds me of my sister.

People always think mine has something to do with "women," but it's just a weird abbreviation for the county where I live (Williamson), since I started out in my local forum before wandering over to the dark side.

I'm always amazed at how many people use the same username in ALL forums. It makes it so easy to figure out who they are.

Very cool. I'd never heard that song before.
