You know, Gerania. I think a lot of members have passed but we just don't know it. I'll sometimes question a member who is active on the threads daily and suddenly goes quiet. I say, "uh oh," thinking something happened and it's not good. That happened with Hope delivers. A truly sweet lady who never had a bad thing to say about anyone. Suddenly gone and then a family member posted that she died suddenly. She was one of those people you'd like to know in real life and could probably be friends with for the rest of your life.
I remember Hope delivers. Sigh. There are a lot of older people here.
This thread makes me so sad to hear of their passing's. So many usernames I recognize.
Oh, I started the sad thread. I'm sort of sad that I did but wondered what happened to some of my friends. I've learned that some have died, some were banished, and others have vanished. Knowing is better than not knowing.
I can relate Hang in there and don't feel bad about starting this thread. It's been a good thread, even if it's not always the happiest of news. Like you said, it's better to know than not know.

Thank you for starting this. I totally agree with you. All of you guys, including those mentioned in this thread, have "been in my life" since 2008. I have gotten very upset about hearing of some of the passing's. Even though I didn't KNOW them, I did.
I miss BirdieBell. Her status shows she's no longer a member. She gave such great advice.
And I always wondered what happened to STT Resident. She stopped posting in 2015.
I miss BirdieBell too. I didn't always agree with her advice but muck of the time, she was right on target. I also appreciated how succinct and forthright she was.
Hello everyone. Northwood Voyager passed away last month. Her son posted a very loving and touching tribute on Facebook on January 24th. NWV had some ailments but she acquired Covid which was her final undoing according to her son.
