One person had five crisp $100 bills eaten by their over-mischievous dog. The "victim" pieced together some of the missing currency from the dog's stool . The Mutilated Currency Division of the U.S. government replaced the money. The writer lost a smaller amount of money but the local bank was willing to replace the partially chewed $5 bill with a crisp replacement.

How would others handle the canine thievery? How would it affect your relationship with man's best friend?
