Ever had a "friend" who just loves to pick at everything you do? It could be about something really dumb too. Is it jealousy? Is it hatred? And if this has happened to you, do you still talk to that person?
yes. and no, i don't talk to that person any more. I operate strictly in associating with others who feel comfortable around me, and I feel comfortable around. Life is too short not to, IMO.
Can't say that I do. However, my BFF is KNOWN to comment on things, sometimes, when I'm really not trying to hear it, and sometimes at inopportune times, but she's usually speaking the truth about something I need to hear but don't want to hear since the truth usually hurts. She speaks her mind, and rubs A LOT of people the wrong way, but I'm used to her, so she really doesn't get me all upset and bent out of shape, like other people in our circle.

No. The friendships I have involve mutual respect. If I met someone who loves to insult people, they are not a friend of mine. If I don't have to associate with them, I won't.
TT What about if they are just making jokes or trying to be funny when they are making fun of somebody?
To the OP: I've had friends that were critical of me and they didn't stay friends for long. I can't stand it to be honest. It's so rude and ruins everything.
