You could have autism, but I was thinking more along the lines of a personality disorder like; Avoidant Personality Disorder. You seem to be very sensitive to negative criticism. I also think you are looking for help or are lonely, or both. You need to talk to a therapist. You said you don’t have the money, but you live in a gated community- I don’t understand?
I guess someone should tell you, because eventually it is going to be a big disappointment in your life when you find out.
Very very few people are so important that anyone notices much about them at all. You've posted a few times on a forum with strangers and it is actually bizarre that you think that people who don't know you have actually formed an opinion about who you are or care where you are from.
The world is simply not turning around you to the point where you are important to strangers. Many people just read the notes without even noticing who has written them.
So my only advice is that you find new friends if the ones you have are putting you down and damaging your self esteem.

Sometimes there are gated communities in bad parts of town. I can think of one in Memphis that is a very dangerous apt complex, really bad idea to go in if you don't belong there, and all the residents are section eight. Not that this necessarily applies to OP, but it could.

I'm not really lonely. Much rather be alone that with people I find nothing in common with.

I do not know anything about Detroit and would not get along very well with anyone from there.
If you don't know anything about Detroit, how do you know you would not get along with ANYONE from there? Seems like a sweeping generalization based on....nothing.
