This is a typical gathering for holidays. Lunch/Dinner table conversation is enjoyable, but becomes less so after that. The men’s convo centers around sports (statistics, bets, etc)- none of which interest me. I am a guy and don’t feel like I am around anyone that shares similar interests at these times. It’s pretty dammed lonely and I really don’t look forward to these get-togethers. Anyone else feel this way?
drink mimosas and gossip with the girls about the men
My first reaction was to think that you’re a little on the snark side. Then, I read your previous posts and found them all to be snarky. The women’s’ convos don’t interest me either.

I get that; I do. Sometimes I go because, well, it's obligatory; sometimes I go because I want to. Either way, I got no problem just sittin' and listening without injecting much.
OP, have you ever tried to bring up topics that interest you?
For what it's worth, I'm a female who is an ardent DIYer; I'm addicted to it. Most females I know have no interest in the subject and can't relate, and I bore them. So I do more listening than talking. Conversely, I feel comfortable talking DIY stuff with guys, and they seem receptive.

Don’t know why you would subject yourself to that. Just don’t go if you don’t enjoy them.
Maybe instead of being unhappily passive at the next family gathering you could show up with Pictionary or Trivial Pursuit and organize a game. Yesterday after Christmas dinner a number of us played Settlers of Catan (which I had never played before). We had a really good time, and then we had a shared experience to talk about afterward.
