I get on well with my co-workers, and i think they have facebook pages. Is it wrong to ask them to be facebook friends?

Or would they not want co-workers looking at their personal stuff (which I can understand can be a concern here)?

Do you add co-workers you get on well with on Facebook or twitter or any other social networking site?

Depends on your relationship with them and also your ability to somewhat censor what you put about yourself.

It isn't a "right or wrong" issue. It's up to the individual and their own purpose for using FB.

For myself, I do have co-workers on there. But I have many close friends at work that I also socialize with, and we often communicate outside of work hours. Obviously you need to use some common sense about what you post.

Plus, you should be judicious in your postings on there, anyway. Anyone can get a hold of that information.

I have a coworker as a Facebook friend but it's possible in the near future she's getting promoted and will be my boss = bye bye facebook friend

Now is the time to poke or superpoke her

Or write a note, 25 random things about me, and tag her.

Or play mafia wars. You can make her the godmother of your mafia

I get on well with my co-workers. I added them on facebook just last week because I'm moving to North Carolina, but wanted to keep them posted. I did give it a lot of thought though. It wasn't an impulse decision to add them.

It depends on whether or not the co-worker is also a friend.
