Hey, if it makes you feel better, I like suburbs to. Hunk ook at how huntersville racks in education & crime compared to Raleigh.

Huntersville is probably more urban than Raleigh
You were all over the place and very little sense there towards the end?? Are you really that unnerved that Raleigh beats Charlotte in every measurable way of what people really want in a city?

Pretty sad out of a metro on 10 counties you have zero in on a 14 block radius of suck to try and beat Raleigh and the Triangle, lol !

I'm actually running a greenway & responding. Not unnerved. I'm simply saying Raleigh is a suburb with no downtown. It's just one of a few towns with no mass transit where everyone drives to an office park

To build a light Rail line and make it work, you need a central place with over 100,000 workers. Raleigh 40,000 worker downtown is not going to get federal funding. How many people in Cary work in downtown Raleigh?
The only way Raleigh will have to pay 100% of the building of a light rail line.

If Raleigh can not afford their bus system, how can they build a light rail system.

Raleigh will get light rail before Charlotte gets a 300 acre destination park adjacent to uptown, I can promise you that

Because there will be no land to make a 300 acre park since everything adjacent to uptown. Not a problem for Raleigh since no one lived in or adjacent to downtown anyway.

By 2019, 9,000 people will be living in downtown Raleigh...11,000 counting surrounding hoods. Around 34,000 for uptown & SouthEnd Alone by 2019

Besides a park bigger than Central Park (Despite it being 100,000x+ more populated), and a choo choo station that will carry barely anyone a day, what else is happening downtown Raleigh?

An education, which, I might add, you have no college degree. So who are you to talk about education? Lol

You sound jealous of Raleigh's Central Park. Just throw that on the heap along with all the other rankings where Raleigh beats Charlotte in every measurable way of what people really want in a real city
