Maybe it should be Trickster Tuesdays! or Tapeworm Tuesdays! or Twisted Tuesday.

Thanks for plans to make life hard for anyone of any party to retire here or who is retiring here by eliminated retired income tax credit and plans on raising sales taxes.

Thanks for causing NC falling out of list of state to do business.

Thanks gor turning NC into a backwards laughing stock.

Help us Share the love! We have a rare opportunity to spread the word about the totality of what the right-wing is doing to our state. You see, Republicans are hosting a Moral Monday copy-cat rally called “Thankful Tuesday” tonight to say thanks for everything the legislature has done these past few years. Lucky for us, the GOP failed to register ThankfulTuesdays.com so we own it now and are using it to highlight exactly what they've done to our state so far....

Maybe there should be a "Sane Saturday" for realists that see limitations with aspects of both viewpoints, who actually had to work to pay bills during the rallies and couldn't just drop everything to head off to Raleigh, don't really fall on an extreme of the political spectrum, and who want to see the state actually progress in terms of job growth, infrastructure (roads/bridge repair, etc.).

I don't attend the Moral Monday rallies. I have a full-time job. I could go if I wanted, but it's just not my thing.

I support those who go, though.

People saying that jobs stop them from attending a Monday evening rally are using a cop out or they don't have any job flexibility. Which usually equals lousy jobs. No need for them to act like they slave away while everyone else is lazy. I call BS on that.

What I don't get is that if anyone else started a thread about Moral Monday's and used the same language you did, but reverse the color of skin, we'd probably get suspended and our post would have been removed.

I don't agree with either side here, they're both nuts!

You really don't get the fact that white people are not an oppressed minority, do ya?

I agree. The protest starts at 5pm and this last one ran until 9:30. Most people aren't at work during those hours.
