I lived there two years and if you expecting snow forget it. One day we did have a freezing rain that shut everything down. "Winter" is brief and as I remember I had daffodils in February and tulips in March.

You fooled me, I thought there would be pictures of Hickory on this thread. Hopefully someone will post some pictures. Until then you can take a look at the city government website. It has some pictures.
I thought someone would have pics also...I thought it snowed there. The average snowfall there (according to the internet) is 3 inches/year.

It does snow in Hickory. Hickory has a much higher chance of seeing snow than Charlotte does. Hickory gets a good snow storm over 6 inches sometimes. Some years Hickory gets alot of snow, others just some ice.
I would really love to see pictures...I can only find pictures of Boone in the winter.
