Let's discuss the policies and decisions. Great. But deciding if he'll win or not after serving less than 20% of his term is quite silly.

Actually, people are doing this already, as well.

Does not matter! We need to fix everything that has been destroyed by the previous corrupt clowns. Terms mean nothing if the person can't get things done. I think terms should be limited. Career politicians....NO! - period!

These words should be bronzed and hung at every voting poll.

Career politicians are the disease that this country is afflicted with.

I followed McCrory's career as a mayor, and expected much, much better from him.

Since I've been in town, we've gone from a criminal (Easley) to an idiot (Perdue) to this guy, who is clearly infected with politicianitis.

I would say I can't imagine anyone being worse than the predecessor, but I said the exact same thing in '08 when I voted for Obama.

Well, the legislative districts have been so gerrymandered, it will be hard to unseat a lot of them--but a statewide race can't be gerrymandered

This was my question, exactly. Northern carpetbagger, here. But, gerrymandering has ensured GOP control of your legislature for the next ten years. We have the same in WI, now. A state which voted for Obama is being railroaded by the GOP.

Gerrymandering should be illegal. It deprives the people on both sides of a voice.

I think Cooper would defeat McCrory, but he seems to have a record of not wanting to run for higher offices.

I agree that it's awfully early to be making predictions. However....

Although the legislature has a super-majority which renders gubernatorial vetoes only symbolic, I am extremely disappointed that McCrory has chosen to cave in and follow the lead of the GA instead of standing his supposed moderate ground. I think/hope this will come back to haunt him.

So you have no problem with the corrupt clowns that are in office right now? This state cannot take 2 terms of McCrory. Let's hope he is a 1 term Governor.
