Looking for A Nice Small Town (Wake Forest, Youngsville: school district, suburb, horse)

Hello! I am looking for a quaint town in North Carolina. Preferrably one that is on the country/suburb side. Enough distance between neighbors, but not enough so we would be secluded. Me and my husband want to raise a small family, and would like them to go to a good school district. Also, we plan to have a small horse farm. Any ideas?

You might like the Wake Forest/ Youngsville area...youngsville you can get more for your money, and the elementary school is excellent.
