I have a job offer there, so me and my wife are going down this weekend to have a look around.

Anyone have any recommendations as far good subdivisions in Winterville (mid-price-range) that are perhaps transplant friendly? Maybe some people who actually live in them? Also worth noting is we don't have any kids.

Thanks for any advice, my head is spinning from all the choices (and not much info other than basic description!)

There is this nice subdivision right outside of Winterville called Barefoot Landing. Me and my fiance was riding around looking for houses there about 3 weeks ago and saw a few that were up for sale. I really like the area but my fiance said that it was a little too far for here to commute from there to the other side of Greenville. A great bonus is that it's also right next to a park with a baseball field on it. I really like it for that fact that it's right next to Winterville and not some standard subdivision farther out of town (I.E. some of the ones of Firetower).

Thanks Mr. ENC, are you guys moving out there also, or do you already live out there?

No we don't live that subdivision, and my fiance thinks it might be to far out of the way from her job so I doubt were moving there, but we do live around the Winterville-Greenville Area (in apartments right now).

If you don't mind me asking, what apartment complexes have you lived in and what has been your experience? Any recommendations for/against a particular place? I am looking to move that way with my family later this summer and am in the market for a rental. I have tried contacting numerous places, but have had a hard time getting anyone to contact me back.
