North Carolina personal income growth has beat the national average over the last year, putting us in the top 6 states for income growth!
vulpeck - Do let me know when North Carolina is not one of the top 6 states for income growth, but is one of the top 6 states in income. That'll be significant! A 3% increase when you're in the "bottom half of state income" means you're still in the "bottom half of state income".

Adjusted for cost of living, our average household income is nowhere near the bottom
Of course it's going to take time for pro-growth economic policies to completely repair decades of Democratic failure. Have a little patience
Interesting enough, most of the northeast is ranked ahead of NC, despite the higher COL in that area.
Of course data from 2012 would show our old ranking. Republicans were only in control for a year by that point. Looking at the adjusted purchasing power in that time period puts us just below the median. We're likely well above that by now with the strong growth rate we've had for 4 of the last 5 years

Maybe. Do you have any data to show that? The previous data you posted showed that income in NC grew by 4.1% in 2013-2015, versus 6.4% for the nation as a whole, so I would guess NC has actually fallen further behind.

No, we're both just guessing at this point, but the economy has been growing gangbusters in NC since the legislature flipped. Unemployment was 11% in 2010, 9% in 2012 and is 4% now

One of us is guessing. One of us is using actual data to make an educated guess.
You're arguing with McCrory's press secretary. That's more pointless than arguing with me.
LMAO
Honestly, when he wrote that I would guess he believes (likely in some alternate reality) that the legislature is "pro-growth" so I was hoping he could name ONE policy.... ONE! Something that would make anyone think they are "pro-growth".
I will hold my breathe waiting for his answer.
