It’s time, though, to stop living in and/or enabling an alternate reality and calling it anything other than what it really is (i.e. being extremely optimistic).
I’ve never seen someone hate a place as much as you hate Greensboro/Winston-Salem. What is the obsession with hating it? I mean. Every topic about GSO has you in it being a hater. You seem to relish it.

It's not even worth expending the energy trying to respond to you anymore.

In related news, the Riverfront Park (next to the Met) Gardens recently opened. As well the Live Oak Bank Amphitheater had over 125k from July to November.
It sure would be nice if we could manage to keep a development thread open for more than a month before everyone starts bickering over pointless bull****...
The lot across from Pins Mechanical in South End (Charlotte) has been cleared very recently. Whoever is behind the project is keeping very quiet, so no renders or any sort of plans have been released, but the rumors are saying a pair of 25ish story buildings will be going up soon. It's entirely possible that we could be looking at over dozen towers under construction all at once in South End by this time next year.

FWIW, this topic was not started as a development thread, rather a thread about the population of NC's 25 largest cities. In as much as development affects population growth, I suppose it's within boundaries of this topic. I personally don't see this thread as one to specifically discuss skylines, perceptions, urbanity, etc.

Yeah, also I think several threads have been merged into this one and it's kinda morphed into development news recently. I'll start a new thread for development, hopefully it won't instantly devolve into Raleigh vs. Charlotte arguments....
