How is this year comparing to past years?
Do you think all the bridges will close?
Any good links on updates?
Thanks

I live in GF-EGF and a meteorologist. Looking like a crest around 50 ft maybe 51 ft. flood closures are up along Demers (closing the DeMers bridge) and along Minnesota Ave (Closing the Pointe Bridge). The Kennedy will remain open up through 52-53 ft and it should not be affected.

The greenway has some water but that is what it is supposed to have in a flood.

Here is an excellent page

I live on the southside of EGF....we do expect the Kennedy to remain open ...crest should be about the time you arrive....

East Grand Forks Emergency Manager indicates even if the river gets to 52-53 ft (which appears unlikely) they would keep it open by putting up some temporary clay dikes along the edges on the EGF side along Hwy 2. Main rainstorm doesnt appear to be in the offing now so river may not reach 50 ft even..... so feel pretty safe in above info. Also my family would have to move to the GF side if the Kennedy closes.....and I am not worried about that.

I have been traveling over to that area for more than a year but it is fascinating how big the river is now.
Sorry I cannot give you more reps
