we are hopefully moving there in the summer and was wondering about the cost of the tags on cars and pick up? thanks for any info
I moved to ND from CA last spring. My Dodge Ram 1500 tags cost me about 1/3 of what it cost me in California. My wifes car was also a lot cheeper. Hope that helps...
Much less expensive. Of course we had to pay for the plates this time, but after that it will be much cheaper to register our van here than in CA - also there is no more smog check every other year. That saves a bundle!
As an aside - you will need a block heater and probably want snow tires.
cool! thank you ! we live in N.CA were it snows so we do have 4 wheel drive and snow tires on them but we will be getting blocks heaters for sure ! thanks so much for he info!
Cheap cheap. I paid $70 and that was including plates. Registering in Minnesota however, is another story.
