I can't get too much more specific than "women's issues" as the problem I'm needing help with legally. But I'm looking for recommendations for a lawyer who's sensitive to women's issues, particularly harassment by an an ex-spouse but with some other complications woven in. I tried googling this, but I really don't want to pick a lawyer by website--need to go to someone who KNOWS what they're doing, who'll do the job with compassion and expertise, and who won't put the case off bc it's "small potatoes" and not a great big lawsuit. A big bill to fill, but I feel somebody out there must know an attorney who fits my needs...

Try John Cerra in Carbondale. The guy is one the biggest jerks on the planet, but he's a pitbull and if I were in trouble or were divorcing, etc... He'd be the first guy I'd call. Assuming noboby has murdered him yet. He's very abrasvive.

There's a woman who handles a lot of cases for the women's resource center, her first name is Jill, can't recall her last name at the moment. I would give them a call and see if she will take the case.
