I'll agree with that, okaydorothy!! Except their time in service should be 6 years instead of 4 and at the end if they didn't make any worthwhile contribution...they get shipped back to their country with no possible chance of gaining re-entry!!

I actually agree with you;even though I lean to the far left...lol...I just wish people came into our country legally....like most of our ancestors.

I do agree that if they cant hack it, then they should go back. But for those who do stay and serve the country, let them get rewarded.

I think this is a bad idea. To make some put their lives on the line is a frankly perverse incentive to gaining the legal right to be in the country. And when you consider that many non-citizens have already risked their lives to come here, asking some of them to do it again is just cruel. And when you consider that the military is already over-represented by the poor and minorities, I think this idea just exacerbates that problem.
