Harassment charges against Green Ridge man withdrawn - News - The Times-Tribune

This clears our own Dan (weluvpa) of any wrong doing. I knew these charges were bogus. I have a feeling Dan will be back.

Because he didn't do it, he was accused by someone that was less than honorable and had a record.

Mhm.

So anyway...

Was it lack of evidence or did the accuser decide to drop charges?

It wasn't lack of evidence nor did the "accuser" drop the charges. I was arrested based on a false statement made by an aggressive neighbor who had been drinking. The neighbor lied to the police about how the initial incident occurred and I was arrested and locked up for the night in county jail.

Once the preliminary trial came, the neighbor openly admitted to the DA that he was in fact on my property more then once trying to "f---ing kill me", and in the process he actually made physical contact with my mother, that it is when I defended myself. I did not violate any PA firearm laws and when the police arrived the DA ok'd the charges of harassment and terroristic threats.

After the neighbor admitted that he was in fact on the property when this happened and I was in fact defending myself, home and mother it was clear that I did not commit a crime and the DA withdrew the charges that were initially filed based on a false statement.

I missed you guys too.
