Have you tried Locust Lakes? they don't have a pool but have a beach...it's a nice community a little
farther north on 940 past Lake Naomi.....Lake Naomi is your best bet...If you can find something in
your price range that needs a little TLC, go for it....they have a beautiful outdoor pool, beach, several
others beaches, restaurant, snack bars, indoor pool facility with hot tub, recreation building, with state
of the art equipment....Worth your while to take a look at it.....check out their website, just type in
Lake Naomi, Pa....try renting their one summer or fall and take a look around.....

Dear Jules0804, If you are looking for Gated and an indoor pool but your budget is up to $120,000 my idea for you would be this, find the most knowledegable agent in Arrowhead Lakes (I think you already had one in me although I haven't heard from you in a while). With folks who have a tight budget like this I suggest for them to purchase in Arrowhead Lakes (Gated, 3 outdoor heated swimming pools, tennis, beaches on two large lakes etc....) and then if the indoor pool feature is important to you purchase a family membership at the Mountain Laurel Club. It is very close to the same area (Jack Frost / Big Boulder Ski Resort resort area). With a rstricted budget like this , this is your best option. I know you were looking in Towamensing Trails before but I guess you now want the gated feature and the indoor pool. As far as Emerald Lakes, if you already signed an agency relationship with a realtor it would be up to them to guide you. If you haven't then feel free to DM me for more information.

I can vouch for Arrowhead Lakes.
It's a gated community near Thornhurst.
Close enough for shopping but far enough from
the riff-raff of Pocono Spgs., Emerald Lakes, etc.

I've never had any problem in Arrowhead.
It's a gated community and they patrol all the time 24/7.
There have been a few incidents but nothing compared
to the trouble you find in these other places.

I agree, most of the incident that is being reported is blown out of proportion a bit. When we were researching, people mentioned things about Emerald Lake and Indian Mountain Lake... we are living there now and it is so peaceful... all the stories about loud music and crime are not there...

will there be a few incident here and there, sure... but I say if you are used to City living - especially NYC... the "Crime" in pocono is like no crime. Of cuz, do not buy near PCP... then you are all good.

I lived in Mt. Pocono before moving to Arrowhead Lake six years ago.
The difference between the two is like night & day when it comes to the local riff-raff.
I have a 200 ch. police scanner that I tune in to the Mornoe County police, fire, etc.
The chatter for Mt. Pocono, Emerald, Long Pond, and neighboring areas are almost constant.
The chatter for Arrowhead Lakes, Thornhurst, Pocono Pines, and those areas are almost nill.
That says it all right there.

Something tells me you are thinking of something other than Pocono Springs when your talking about riff raff...PS is in Sterling..off of 196...well north of the riff raff communities such as PCP. I have never seen anything I could remotely call riff raff in Pocono Springs.
