One of my favorite things to do in the fall is get a big glass of pumpkin beer. I love, love, love the spices in it. Anyone have a suggestion of good places to go? I know Dogfish Head brews it locally but this year I'm interested in branching out.

Don't know where to get it but it sounds very Harry Potterish.

Hey Normie,
If you find any place please advise me, I love seasonal beer. Do you know of any mico-brewery in the area?

World Market in 7 corners had some varieties today--I didn't look closely at it though.

I saw Buffalo Bill's pumpkin ale in world market the other day.

Grocery store, fresh produce, tobacco products. Arlington, VA has a few different pumpkin beers in bottles.

I was in Mad Fox in Falls Church and I believe they said they were going to have a pumpkin' ale soon. They make the beers at the restaurant, and all the ones I have had have been very good.

You might try the Mad Fox Brewing Company in Falls Church.

I'm not really a fan of pumpkin beer, but my experience with all of the beers I've tried at Mad Fox has been positive. I'll third the general recommendation for them. They're one of the best recent additions to the local brewing scene. If I were a pumpkin beer fan, I'd definitely want to try some there.

Dogfish Head is brewed in Delaware, so it's not really local, but it is darn tasty.

I thought they also brewed a small amount at the restaurant here. But I could be wrong, maybe they just ship it in?
