I confess I think some of the license plates designs are dorky.

LOL LOL LOL I've done this, too! You're not kidding, that moment when you see security approaching is a bit of a heart clutcher! Then when they get to your car they just laugh at you. I guess people do it all the time.

I confess I've gone to our beach house in Rehoboth or to parties up in Maryland, and stocked up first at Total Wine here in Virginia. I've never once stopped to pay the tax after crossing state lines (in fact I don't even know how you're supposed to do it).

Just after Christmas I was playing with my new Booken (e-book reader) and missed the Friendship Heights stop, where I had a doctor's appointment. (Luckily, I happened to notice the drab 'Bethesda' sign on the gray wall of the platform, and it dawned on my subconscious that I never see 'Bethesda' out the train window on trips to this particular doctor.. heh.) So I jumped out and got on a train across the platform. I think I'd left my brain at home that day because once on the Metro I started playing with my Bookeen again and accidentally stayed on three or four stops past Friendship Heights going the other way. I ended up being about 20 minutes late to my appointment.

I confess that George Stephanopoulis is a cutie. I used to love it when he was hosting This Week from the Newseum and even met him at a party once. Let me tell you, if you think he's cute on TV you should meet him in person. George Will's cute, too. I would love to go to a party and be in the midle of a conversation with both of them. It would be a George sandwich!

Oh, and speaking about parties, I confess that I've been to several parties lately where the topic of conversation was not "what school did you go to" or "what did you major in". I know, it's shocking.

The first time I saw him on SNL (many years ago) I remember thinking "Why would he name himself after Chevy Chase, Maryland?"

I confess I cant stand "Virginia Tech", and "Hokie Parent" bumperstickers.
I dont care where you went to college and find it silly that you have to advertise it.
I came from the Princeton, NJ area and no one had Princeton bumper stickers.

When I see an Obama bumper sticker I just smile and shake my head.
