Agree that this area is huge for the 'skins, the younger folks are strong for the Caps and United, and have noticed a large "meh" feeling to the other teams. Personally, I will still root for my hometown teams but would like to see the Caps and Redskins do well.

I think Dan Snyder basically killed the love for the Skins a while ago. I grew up a Skins fan because that is who my family cheered for (my mom and dad met at Springbrook), but I haven't given a flying rat's butt about them for a while now. Of course, I married the enemy (Darn Cowboys), and am doing all I can to keep my daughter from being seduced to the dark side.
