Yes, it was. Where are you located? I'm in Woodbridge. I felt like my house was going to rattle apart. All the neighborhood dogs started barking like crazy.

WTF?! We just moved here and I've never experienced an earthquake before. I'm shaking in my boots. DH's work in Tyson's is being evacuated.

Shook the house in Reston, sent the cat flying down the steps, and knocked a framed photo off the bookshelf. I'm going to guess it was about a 5, given that it felt the same as was of that magnitude I experienced overseas.
