Just drove through Neersville, and Hillsboro on my way back from Martinsburg and Shepardstown. In Neersville, I saw 5 Obama, and 1 Romney signs.

In Hillsboro, I saw 9 Obama and 3 Romney signs. It seems anywhere in the towns there are now getting to be alot more Obama than Romney.

Oddly enough, out of all the travel in WVA today, I saw exactly 1 Romney sign, and 2 Obama signs. All of the rest (and there were LOTS) were all for local elections.

Interesting that you bumped this thread because I was just thinking about it. The eastern end of Hamilton (on the main drag)had a bunch of Romney signs that I noticed were gone about two weeks ago but today, they seem to have been replaced. Looks like about 7 or 8 houses had new Romney signs . . . the western edge of town has the Obama. Guess there's an east/west divide in Hamilton.

Now if you head west on Route 7, there's many, many Romney signs all the way to Winchester. In Winchester city, there are some of both. Up and down Route 29 all the way to NC, lots of Romney.

I travel a good bit around the state, not so much in closer to Arlington/Alexandria, but Romney stickers outnumber Obama. I've been most surprised by the number of Romney in Charlottesville although clearly there are still many Obama ones there.

I just wonder why Obama's spending time and money in Virginia if he's wrapped up such a lead. He was in Virginia Beach again today.

Just moved to Fairfax City and haven't explored our whole neighborhood yet, but so far I've seen one Romney and one Kaine sign. We previously lived in Alexandria (Fairfax County) in a condo, so no yard signs there.

Every day we move toward the election, the more and more Obama signs are popping up in western Loudoun. They outnumber Romney now just about everywhere.

Lately, I've been seeing more and more Obama signs popping up. Early on there were a lot more Romney signs out but now it's more of an even split.

I think this is going to be a close election.

Not on Rt 50 in the Aldie, Middleburg, Upperville area. Slight edge for Romney.

As a reminder, let's keep the Presidential/national politics out of this thread.

I might not have bought a house in this neighborhood had I realized how right-leaning it seems to be. I've seen maybe 6 Obama signs, including my own. LOTS of Romney - it seems like an outlier in this area.
