Side roads are extremely slippery but manageable with a little common sense. I didn't have to climb any big hills -- I would imagine that would be tough. Main thoroughfares are fine.

This I can vouch for big roads in Arlington, i.e. Columbia Pike, Washington Blvd, Clarendon/Wilson Blvd.

Roads are fine (even back roads - WMill, Vale, etc), but whoever decided not to treat ramps & bridges (not so fine) this time but did last week is an idiot, as are any who rely on "models" to determine weather. Last week was too warm to snow, so we got treated roads & waiting plows. Last night, not so much. Cest la vie...

At 4am this morning Route 28 in Manassas was running wet and slushy. Braddock Road to the beltway had not been touched and was powdery snow. Beltway to Woodrow Wilson Bridge was half and half....half snow, half slush. 295 was wet. Bolling AFB - powdered snow!

Just made my trek from Middleburg to DC. Roads are fine the whole way. Cautious driving, but normal speeds are expected.

Drove from Vienna to Reston. The main roads, such as Rt.123, Hunter Mill, Lawyers, Sunrise Valley, were OK. But the other ones are so-so, and some roads were not cleared at all and do have snow.

The neighborhood streets and sidewalks here in W. Springfield are still snow covered and slick. Of course they don't get treated. Roads such as Sydenstricker and Huntsman are ok.

Still no snow plow down our street. The few cars that I've seen drive by don't seem to be slipping/sliding which is good...

Main roads in PWC weren't bad, some snow. Side roads were untouched, I did a lovely 180 coming off my street at maybe 5-10mph since it was like a sheet of ice. 95 was wet with untold numbers of people freaking out, 495 from Springfield to Westpark was ok, 123 was ok. Side streets in McLean were snow covered but not as slick, I had no troubles starting, stopping and turning.
