We drove through Leesylvania today and it is really pretty, although right now it is covered in ice and snow! =)

I walked Occoquan park again yesterday and again, it was very nice. I must say that there was a pretty long stretch of it that was full of dog poop.

I just have to wonder why pet owners do that. There are areas with trees where people don't walk, or better yet, clean up after your pet!

Why would you let your dog use the bathroom on an obvious path meant for walking and running? Why would you not clean it up?

I truly think people need to be fined for things like that.

I am a pet owner. While they are cats, I clean up after them. I wouldn't just let their litterbox sit there and never get cleaned.

I know this isn't the first time this has happened, and people come across it all the time, but I do have to wonder why some dog owners think it is ok to do that...

Laurel Hill

there's a portion of the trail that I think is more North ( I get turned around out there lol), but you have o cross a two lane road (not a real concern, traffic wise). It appears it's more suited for folks with horses, but I've yet to see a horse out there (whilst mountain biking). the trail is a little more aggressive imo, but is likely suitable for hiking. I imagine it's outlined on the map I posted ITT
