Anyone have a good recommendation for a company that can seal our asphalt driveway? I've only heard of Collegiate Sealers and they have awful reviews on yelp, so we don't want to use them. Thanks!

I had my asphalt driveway installed new by Collegiate Sealers last July and they did the first sealing of the driveway this past June. I'm planning on a second coat of sealer in the next few months. I don't have any complaints whatsoever. I think it's kind've difficult to mess up asphalt sealing. I mean, they get out their with the squeegees and the sealer and they're done pretty quickly. I'm not sure what there would be to complain about, but who knows. Maybe I got lucky. As I recall, they had pretty good reviews on Angie's List.

We also used Collegiate Sealers and were pleased with both the work done and the price.

do it yourself! it's easy.

goto lowes/home depot.
get the 5gallon sealer w/2yr warrenty. the one w/5yr warrenty flakes before 5yrs.
get a broom/sequegee combo stick.
buy mini construction cones and block off your drive way.

make sure temp is above 50 degree and will be at least 70 degrees some point in the day.
and wear clothes/shoes you don't mind getting permanently dirty.

We always use Academy. They do a great job. They also clean gutters...
