It seems you were responding to the last sentence of my last post.
We can reasonably have different opinions as to whether McLean would be a good or ideal choice for OP, given her particular circumstances, but I never asserted that there aren't decent homes there in her price range. If you took anything I wrote as a put-down of where you were living before you moved to Virginia Beach, I apologize. That was not my intent.
