There is one bad neighborhood in Manassas called Georgetown South. Some commercial areas like Route 28 are kinda rundown but not dangerous. Most of Manassas is just like every other generic suburb in America. So what if it has a large Hispanic population. Hispanics are the second largest ethnic group in America and they are everywhere. I used to live in small town North Carolina and there were just as many Hispanics there.

Not sure if someone can help....

My mom, daughter, and I will be living in Manassas and I will be working in Downtown DC (long story). What is the best way to commute? Should I take the VRE to Union Station then take the metro to Metro Center or should I drive to Vienna metro and park? Thank you!

For less stress I would take VRE from one of the Manassas stations.

True with the exception of Sterling Park. That area is no better than Manassas and has by far and away the worst schools in Loudoun, and the State of Virginia for that matter.

If you want better schools, try for the Leesburg area, or Loudoun county if you can afford it.
