I would second people's recommendation with Fairfax solely because it is the only hospital in the region with neonatal intensive care. I'm a bit of a worry-wart, so even if the pregnancy is going textbook good, I would still go to the "best" hospital money can afford...to me, that's Fairfax. I would never go to Fairfax's ER, but they've invested quite a bit of money into their neonatal facilities so I wouldn't hesitate recommending there. Everyone I know that's given birth there (and that's a lot), recommends Fairfax. Another facility that I heard was good was Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington. Good luck!

All of the Inova hospitals have NICUs - Alexandria, Fair Oaks, Loudoun...

Fairfax and GW are the only level 3 NICUs in the area with attached delivery units as I recall. Many area hospitals do have NICUs but aren't the highest level.

Alexandria, Loudoun, and Fair Oaks hospitals have level 3 NICUs. Fairfax has a level 4. GW has a level 3.
