Looks like someone was having a bad day and decided to vent her frustration out on OP.

Tch tch, what a shame.

I'm sure many many things. Getting into that would certainly derail this thread.

Very good point.

That sounds about right. Apologies to the OP.

(thanks for remembering I'm female.)

There are some places in Ashburn with new developments that planted rows and rows of cherry trees. Sorry OP but I can't remember the specific neighborhood though but you might have some luck asking around if you know anyone living out there.

Also slightly off-topic as you asked about cherry blossoms, but have you consider peach blossoms? I'm a guy, and I have to admit that peach blossoms are as gorgeous (or more so) than any others.

Thanks for your feedback and suggestions! I actually LOVE peach/pear blossoms (saw them at Mt. Vernon), they are beautiful and imo more vibrant than cherry blossoms. I'll check out some venues beforehand such as the national arboretum and meadowlark in Vienna, the pictures look like they have a nice backdrop and hopefully not too crowded. I'll update this thread with what we eventually go with, and the outcome, in case anyone has the same question.

If you don't have your heart set on "cherry" blossoms, you could try contacting some orchards to see if you can use the property as a backdrop with "apple" blossoms.

There might be a charge but Meadowlark Gardens (Fairfax) or the State Arboretum of Virginia (Clarke County). You might even be able to talk to a public golf course -- many have beautiful landscaping.

That's why we have the reckless driving thread. There is always some new poster who is seeking sympathy for driving 80 on the GW parkway at 4am so we can yell at them if we are having a bad day. Some find it therapeutic.
