I have a difficult small dog and need to be able to travel and leave him somewhere that he isn't terrified to be. I moved here from Chicago and had a great situation there-he could go back to the lady I got him from and hang with his mom and sisters when I needed to go away. I need to find him a home type dog boarder who can be patient with his neurosis. Does anyone have a referral for a person who takes small dogs into their home and can handle a pooch that is seriously insecure? Thanks in advance for any help.

If you live in an HOA, check your association newsletter. People often offer services like this. If you live in eastern Loudoun County, I recommend the Animal Medical Center as a possible place to leave your dog. Could get expensive to go that route, however.

Does your dog like other dogs?? I have two 9year old Min-Pins and a 9year old Chihuaha. I have a big house and deck. If your dog is compatible, you can leave your pooch with me. I live in South Riding.
