I currently belong to Sport and Health in Woodbridge and it is seriously lacking in class offerings. The bulk of their classes are in the morning and during the week with maybe one or two classes total on Saturdays and Sundays. Overall, I like the club and want to keep my membership but I am looking to possibly supplement it with a group fitness pass from either Chinn or Dale City Rec Center. Dale City looks like it definitely has a better selection of classes and better times (ex: spinning classes on the weekends) but I was just wondering if anyone had had any experience with the group fitness classes at either of these locations. ANY information you have will be appreciated. Thanks!

Never took classes at either but generally Chinn center is newer, nicer and bigger - particularly the pool

My wife does a morning swim exercise class at Chinn - from one to four days a week, depending on how the spirit moves her.
The pool at Chinn was closed this past Aug-Sept for renovations, and the people enrolled in the various classes could take the same classes at the Dale City Rec Center, but my wife really prefers Chinn, and elected not to go to the Rec Center.

My son took aikido at the Dale City Rec Center, and that was fine, but it was also many years ago. He's 32 now!

My husband has some sort of Gold membership (he was training for a triathalon) and he would do the swimming at Chinn and some the classes at Dale City.
