HNL airport - greeters/gate (credit, purchase, military)

Can greeters meet you at the gate? or would it be baggage claim like alot of CONUS airports?

Want to get the lei greeting for bride and groom- but the bride is flying from PHX and the groom will already be there (military stationed there)...and the internet site for the lei greetings said they provide the lei at the gate.....
so could the groom be at the gate, too?

Lei Greeters are screened and pass a very strict security process to be able to meet planes.

You cannot meet your bride at the gate... only at baggage claim.

one way he could do it is to take a hop to another island come back and not leave the inner terminal If you knw which terminal she will come in then try to figure out which hop.

Or simply call your favorite airline and purchase a one-way fully-refundable ticket to anywhere.

Go through security, call the airline, cancel the ticket. Depending on the airline, you will tie up some of your credit for a a few days to a few weeks, but this works beautifully.

I don't have that kind of money so I guess I will just forget that idea....or maybe just get the Bride one and ...well, it just seems the groom should have one, too.
