My friend does not have a driver's license (not due to age or criminal activity but due to her personal reasons).

She sometimes has to go somewhere a couple times a month. Is cab the only option? It is so expensive! She does not live on bus-route. Any other options? She lives in Akron suburb, to be specific.

I vaguely remember a bus-like vehicle (mini-bus maybe) picking up a lady from a house that definitely was not on bus route. She told us it's cheaper than cab.

If she is not disabled, or over 62, it doesn't appear that she qualifies for the door-to-door service.

She does have a medical situation, but she is not in touch with her doctor... that's absolutely required, right?

I assume she would need some kind of evidence from a doctor.
