BTDT, Alaskapat. We'uns is country folk. Actually, Uncle Don grew up in northwest Nebraska-but he moved to Denver in his adult years. And I done my growin in Los Angeles. They can have it.

I have a friend who comes over, and we sit outside and listen to the coyotes and the train going by. It's very peaceful here. We live outside of town, the town is about population 4000. Nothing but miles of pasture and woods. Gotta love it after the stressful youth years.

Yeppir, MK, only five of us here for the Trick or Treat Holloween dance.

EB, we have had so much rain lately. And I believe they are heading your way.

Well, last night I ran into town to get some uh...brewskis and when I went to the store, I flashed back to when I had to watch my back, see who was around, take heed to anyone lurking about the shadows, any tell-tale signs of bangers driving by, etc. And I realized I had NO stress at all.

That is one thing I don't miss about the city. Thugs. At least my city. The city of Lights. I will never move back there now. I realize that.

This is home now.

Thats why I love living out in the country. If I can hit my neighbors house with a rock, then we're to close. And right now I can almost hit his house with a rock. Its nice to be able to go out in the back yard and fire off my shotgun and no one starts yelling, "DRIVE-BY, RUN!".

I heard Denver got sloshed with snow. We are headed to Branson on Monday. EB, someday we are going to drive into your neck of the woods and surprise you. We don't want no gruff from you about having to work either!!

I am sure you get at least one day off once in a while. We go as far north as Sioux City, NE to visit Don's family. Maybe next time we will just keep on driving and hit Ohio.

Hello everybody? It's almost Halloween. Winds still bad up here but no snow but its about 37 degrees....chillllly! redbird do you go to the shows there in Branson? Our friends were in Branson a couple weeks ago. Lucky for them as they are headed to Washington State they missed that blizzard going on in Colorado.

Mkfarnam, how's the weather there in Michigan? ptsum, that picture reminds me a bit of our back yard. We are about 5 minutes outside the town limit here, not rural but only about 5 other people on the road (culdesac) and everybody here has an acre so houses not real close together.
